November 1, 2007, Westboro, MA - Trendsmedia, the Events and Publishing Division of Yankee Group and Beacon Events, announced a call for papers for the upcoming WiMAX World Asia Conference & Expo. The event will be held March 18 - 20, 2008 at the Centara Grand - Bangkok Thailand. The conference website is http://asia.wimaxworld.com.

WiMAX World is recognized as Asia's most important event for the WiMAX and Mobile Broadband industry, bringing together senior executives, content providers, technology companies and regulatory experts.
 
WiMAX World is the oldest and largest WiMAX event series in the world having attracted over 20,000 professionals during the past four years.  WiMAX World has achieved this leadership position by bringing an unbiased viewpoint to the industry, and by presenting a balanced view of the promises and challenges of WiMAX in the context of the broader mobile broadband and mobile internet markets.

The call for papers is open for the entire conference program, including plenary sessions (with a focus on the main strategic issues for the WiMAX and the Mobile Broadband industry) and parallel sessions (with a focus on service provider business cases, applications and devices, technology options, marketing, and regulation). Call for papers ends December 15, 2007at 12:00 p.m. noon EST (17.00 GMT) Tips for a Successful

Paper Submission:
Focus your proposal on why your topic is original and why the audience would find the information important and relevant. Describe the proposed format (co-panelists, moderator, etc.).

Submission Process:
Papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format or MS Word.

Requirements:
A completed electronic submission is due prior to December 15, 2007at 12:00pm EST. A complete submission will include the following:
• 50-word Abstract
• Detailed Presenter Information (The title of the talk and the primary author's name, affiliation, address, telephone and fax numbers, and email address and high resolution picture of the speaker, image must be 300 DPI).

Adherence to the instructions for preparation of the abstract and summary is imperative. Failure to complete any of the preceding requirements may result in the rejection of a paper. It is incumbent on the authors to obtain appropriate approval to present their work to this international forum.

Peer Review:
This conference contains high-quality submissions that undergo a peer-review conducted by the members of the Program Committee. The results of the peer review translate into paper selections and topic-driven sessions for this conference. If the paper is accepted, you'll be contacted by a member of the Program Committee.
