WiMAX is emerging as an increasingly important broadband technology for the continued growth of innovative service provider delivery models. Now in its fifth year, WiMAX World is the world's largest event for WiMAX broadband business and technology solutions. Recognizing the need for a forum to honor those products and deployments that have moved the WiMAX industry forward, Trendsmedia and xchange have partnered since 2006 to produce the Best of WiMAX World Awards.

The final selection of winners and Industry Choice nominees will be made by an independent panel of experts in the WiMAX market. The Industry Choice award winner will be voted on by attendees of the WiMAX World 2008 event. Winners will be announced during a special presentation at the WiMAX World 2008 conference on October 1.
