The ballot will remain open until 4:30 p.m. (Central Daylight Time) on Oct. 1. 

Nominations for the award were open to exhibitors, sponsors and speakers at the WiMAX World Conference & Expo, being held Sept 30 - Oct. 2 in Chicago.  A select judging panel of experts from the WiMAX community chose 15 Industry Choice finalists from among nominations received.  Conference delegates can vote online or at the event to choose which finalist is the year's leader in WiMAX innovation.

The winner will be announced during a ceremony in the WiMAX Solutions Theater Oct. 1 at 6pm.  In addition to the Industry Choice category, awards will be given to outstanding WiMAX technology innovators in five other categories:  Chip Design, Devices/Peripherals/Application Software, Industry Innovation, Service Provider Deployment and System Design.  All winners and their awards will be featured in the December issue of xchange, as well as on the WiMAX World USA and xchange Web sites.
