Berge Ayvazian, Chief Strategy Officer, Yankee Group

Working with the company's diverse research groups, Ayvazian ensures Yankee Group is aligned with clients to help them visualize, navigate and generate value from current and future business opportunities. As a senior industry analyst and consultant, Ayvazian directs a wide range of research and consulting projects across a broad group of topics, including communications industry structure, broadband service provider strategy, mobile network infrastructure, enterprise networking strategy, information technology and applications.

Jud Bowman, Chief Technology Officer, Motricity
Jud Bowman is the chief technology officer and the general manager of media & entertainment for Motricity and is responsible for overseeing the company's technology and product strategy and managing Motricity's efforts serving the mobile businesses for global media and entertainment companies such as MTV, BET, Warner Music and Universal Music. Bowman is a founder and chief architect of one of the industry's leading mobile content delivery platforms, Fuel, that has delivered more than $750 million of mobile content to date, and has been named as one of the world's "Top 100 Young Innovators" by MIT's Technology Review and one of "Tech's Best Young Entrepreneurs" by BusinessWeek in 2007.

John Cary, Vice-President and General Manager of Products, UIEvolution
In his role as General Manager and Vice-President of Products, John leads the overall strategy and development of UIE software platform, tools and products that enable rich multimedia experiences across a variety of devices and networks. During the past seven years at UIEvolution, he has worked across Wireless Operators, Device vendors, Content Providers, IPTV and Consumer Electronics industry as well as Vertical Market Solutions to deliver rich, interactive applications that can work seamlessly across multiple technologies and ecosystems. Before joining UIEvolution, John held a variety of senior roles in companies such as Tut Systems, developing VDSL products, as well as OneWorld Systems, where he directed the Engineering team that built routing and telecommunications hardware. John holds a BS in Engineering System Sciences and Economics from University of California, Los Angeles.

Bill Gaudreau, Director of Business Development, mSpot
Bill Gaudreau is the director of business development for mSpot, Inc, a pioneer in developing streaming audio and video services for wireless carriers. Gaudreau focuses on the acquisition and management of audio and video content, including major motion pictures for mSpot's varied mobile multimedia entertainment services offered through North America. Prior to mSpot, he was a part of the product marketing team at Sprint who successfully launched Sprint-Nextel's Emmy award-winning wireless multimedia service - Sprint TV, which included more than 50 video-on-demand and live streaming audio and television channels. In addition, Gaudreau played a pivotal role in the launch mSpot Movies, the first full-length feature movie product for mobile devices in North America, on the Sprint Network. His experience in transforming mass media entertainment onto the mobile entertainment platform has allowed him the opportunity to partner with several media heavyweights; including Disney, Turner Broadcasting, Sony Pictures, Fox, NFL, Warner Brothers, MTV, NASCAR, MLB, MobiTV and Real Networks.

  Dan Gilmartin, VP Marketing, uLocate Communications
Dan joins uLocate from a successful stint as a carrier marketing consultant. Previously, Dan managed consumer location based-services for Sprint Nextel. In this role, he was responsible for the launch of the first family finding product in the wireless industry Sprint Family Locator, local search, and a host of other GPS enabled services. Prior to Sprint Nextel, Dan led product initiatives for Verisign, a company he joined through a series of acquisitions including Network Solutions who acquires a start-up he helped launch, ImageCafe. Dan received his bachelor's degree from Villanova University. When not working, Dan loves to spend time with his family, root for the New York Yankees and fly-fish.

Mike Goodman, Director of Consumer Research, Yankee Group
Michael Goodman is a Director in Yankee Group's Consumer Research group with an expertise in media & entertainment. Goodman is focused on the development of broadband and mobile entertainment and its impact on traditional distribution channels for video, music and games. Goodman's research focuses on the competitive landscape, business models, technology and market segmentation strategies.

Dr. Norman Lewis, Chief Strategy Officer, Wireless Grids Corporation
Dr Norman Lewis is the Chief Strategy Officer, Wireless Grids Corporation, USA where he is responsible for business strategy and building key-industry partnerships to bring this revolutionary technology to market. Prior to joining WGC, he was the Director of Technology Research for Orange UK, formerly the Home Division of France Telecom. Until recently he was an Executive Board member of the MIT Communications Futures Programme. He is currently the Chairman of the ITU's TELECOM Forum Programme Committee. He is currently completing a book on the subject of digital children and their encounter with innovation in a risk-averse culture.

Larry Loper, VP Marketing, Ecrio
Larry Loper joined Ecrio as VP Marketing in November 2006. At Ecrio, Larry's responsibilities include all global product and brand marketing. He also leads business development efforts for Ecrio's patented MoBeam technology, which "beams" barcodes (for coupons, gift cards and more) from mobile phones to industry standard point-of-sale scanners. Larry previously served as VP Marketing at Mobile 365; there he rebranded the merger of Inphomatch and Mobileway into Mobile 365, a global data network that was sold to Sybase for over $400 million. Larry holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a M.S. from the University of Oregon.

Ted Malone, VP Product Marketing & Product Management, Sling Media
As VP of product marketing, Ted is responsible for the creation and execution of the overall product and service strategy for Sling Media, Inc. Prior to Sling Media, Ted served as VP of Corporate Strategy & Marketing for Digital Deck where he was responsible for the creation of the overall product and service strategy for the company as well as corporate marketing activities. Prior to Digital Deck, Ted was the Senior Director of Product Marketing at TiVo. During his 6-year tenure at TiVo, Ted was responsible for determining market requirements, product features, configuration, pricing and competitive analysis for a variety of standalone and integrated DVR products. Ted managed the user experience team, including user research and was responsible for development of the TiVo products and service that were released in the UK in late 2000. Prior to joining TiVo, Ted was a senior engineering manager at Alias/Wavefront, where he developed the product requirements, and managed the development team, for the creation of two versions of the Zap!iT digital video software line.

Patrick Monaghan, Senior Analyst, Yankee Group
Patrick Monaghan is a senior analyst in Yankee Group's Consumer Research group with an expertise in IP telephony and residential wireline services. Monaghan covers consumer VoIP in the U.S. market and the current challenges facing providers, carriers and cable MSOs. His research focuses on the competitive landscape, product positioning and technology and market segmentation strategies. Monaghan also has a deep background in end-user research, quantitative modeling, channel strategy and market forecasting.

John Muleta, CEO and Founder, M2Z networks
John Muleta is Founder, CEO and Board Member of M2Z Networks. Together with his partner Milo Medin, Mr. Muleta founded M2Z Networks in 2005. Immediately prior to founding M2Z Networks, Mr. Muleta was most recently partner and co-Chair of the Communications Practice at Venable LLP. Mr. Muleta has distinguished himself through dedicated service in two previous federal government career positions. Between 2003 and 2005, Mr. Muleta was the head of the Federal Communications Commission's Wireless Telecommunications Bureau and responsible for implementing the Commission's policies regarding consumer wireless services and public safety radio networks.

Boyd Peterson, SVP Consumer Research, ACES Conference Co-Chair, Yankee Group
Boyd Peterson is the senior vice president of Yankee Group's Consumer Research group. Peterson manages the firm's global consumer research, including communications, broadband, wireless and media research, enabling the Anywhere ConsumerTM. Peterson focuses on the business impact of consumer technologies on existing and emerging competitors and markets.

Bill Plummer, VP Multimedia Sales and Channel Management - North America, Nokia
Bill Plummer, a 10 year wireless industry veteran, currently serves as Vice President, Multimedia Sales and Channel Management, North America. Bill's primary responsibilities include driving Nokia's Nseries multimedia computer and experiences vision and business in North America. Bill joined Nokia in 1997, and has held various leadership positions during his career that have furthered the success of Nokia. In his current role, Bill leads Nokia's North American sales and channel operations for the Multimedia Business Group, implementing several market-making practices, including developing new distribution channels, retail and online opportunities.

David Rose, Founder, VP Embedded Technology, Ambient Devices
David Rose is a technology visionary and serial entrepreneur. At Ambient Devices he is pioneering the new consumer category of glanceable technology: embedding Internet information in everyday objects (lamps, mirrors, watches and wearables) to make the physical environment an interface to digital information. Previously, Rose founded Viant's Innovation Center, an advanced technology group for Fortune 500s including Sony, GM, Schwab, Sprint, Compaq and Fleet. He helped build Viant to over 900 people, $140M in revenues and a successful IPO (NASDAQ:VIAN). In 1997 Rose patented online photosharing and founded Opholio (acquired by FlashPoint Technology).

Tony Saigh, Head of Business Development, Mobile, Skype
Tony Saigh joined Skype in 2005, where he leads commercial partnerships with mobile operators and handset manufacturers. Saigh manages strategic and commercial aspects of Skype's partnership with Hutchison and led the commercial launch of the 3 Skypephone, a fully-featured 3G Internet phone with Skype built-in, which has been launched in the UK, Australia, Austria, Denmark, Italy, Ireland and Sweden. Prior to Skype, Saigh held senior business development positions at mobile companies including Terra Mobile, during which time he was responsible for mobile gaming strategy and OEM partnerships.

Mark Selby, Vice President Multimedia, Nokia Corporation
Mark Selby has global responsibility for the implementation of Nokia's multimedia experiences, including Mobile TV, Visual Radio, audio and video. He is a recognized authority on mobile data services and has worked in the mobile, media and IT industries for over 20 years. Prior to joining Nokia he was Senior VP at Mark McCormack's IMG/TWI, managing mobile activities in sports, entertainment, TV, radio and online. He worked closely with many rights owners, including Manchester United, the IOC, IRB and many musicians.

Bin Shen, Vice President, Product Management and Partnership Development, XOHM, WiMAX from Sprint
Bin is responsible for Product Management and Partnership Development of XOHM, WiMAX from Sprint. He leads the product management, product marketing, strategic partnership and eco-system development across devices, internet services, business and consumer applications, and content management and delivery. Previously, Bin led the wireless broadband strategy, planning, market development and incubation activities at Sprint. He played an instrumental role in defining the vision of Wireless Interactive Multi-media Services, completion of the next generation mobile broadband business plan and the selection of Mobile WiMAX as Sprint's 4G technology platform. Prior to this position, Bin was a Senior Director of Broadband Management at Nextel Communications where he led the next-generation service program activities for Nextel. Prior to joining Nextel, Bin was a Manager with Deloitte Consulting's Strategy Practice and served as Manager-Worldwide Marketing, for Eastman Kodak Company's Business Imaging Systems. Mr. Shen has a MBA from the University of Rochester and a BS degree in Finance from Golden Gate University.

Jonathan Singer, Research Analyst, ACES Conference Co-Chair, Yankee Group
Jonathan Singer is a mobile internet research analyst and editor for Trendsmedia, the events and publishing division of Yankee Group. Singer takes a holistic approach to following the mobile internet space, paying special attention to the ties that will bind next generation mobile broadband infrastructure, devices, content, and applications together. He is also the editor for Trendsmedia's WiMAX Trends and Mobile Internet Trends websites and weekly newsletters. As editor Singer updates the site and puts together the weekly newsletter, and provides interviews and commentary on the WiMAX and Mobile Internet industries. In addition to these responsibilities Singer is the Conference Program Manager for the Mobile Internet World Conference series.

Bryan Smith, Vice President Marketing, Clique Communications
Bryan is a seasoned marketing professional, having experience in packaged goods marketing, and marketing in the cable and telecom industries. Bryan joined Clique Communications in July 2006 as Vice President of Marketing and he is responsible for all aspects of marketing at Clique. Prior to joining Clique, he was Vice President of Broadband Services at Insight Communications, the ninth largest cable operator in the country. His experience includes creating the product vision, developing marketing strategies, and implementing marketing initiatives. Prior to joining Insight, Bryan worked at AT&T where he held various marketing roles in AT&T's Consumer Services Business. Bryan has an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, and his MBA from the Darden School at UVA.

Hans Tan, Director of Product Marketing, ZyXEL Communications, Inc.
Hans Tan joined ZyXEL Communications, Inc., in May 2005 and was appointed to lead the WiMAX, FTTX, and IPTV product lines for the North America market. He was most recently Director of Business Development at SENAO Corporation, an OEM/ODM of wireless broadband devices also Country Manager at its North American subsidiary, EnGenius Technologies, Inc. Prior to SENAO/EnGenius he worked for D-Link Systems, managing its WLAN and WWAN product lines. With more than 10years of experience in Wi-Fi / WiMAX industry from engineering to product management and marketing, Mr. Tan holds Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California and Bachelor of Science degree in electronics engineering specialized in communication systems from the National Chao-Tung University in Taiwan. He is a Member of IEEE, has numerous publications and also a representative of ZyXEL at the WiMAX Forum.

Jeremiah Zinn, Senior Vice President of Syndication & Operations, MTV Networks
Jeremiah Zinn is Senior Vice President of Syndication & Operations for MTV Networks (MTVN). In his role, Zinn works closely with the company's Global Digital Media team to manage operations for online content distribution. Zinn also oversees operations and product development for MTVN Mobile Media, which supports the company's brands in developing and distributing a wide portfolio of mobile content and applications. Most recently, Zinn served as Vice President of Wireless Operations and Product Development for MTV Networks. In that role, Zinn managed the mobile product roadmap and development path for six Viacom Brands; MTV, VH1, CMT, COMEDY CENTRAL, Spike and LOGO. Zinn also oversaw production of all mobile products that MTV Networks distributes.
